Accommodations
Students are housed in a Pedagogical University dormitory and take their meals in a student cafeteria. This gives them the chance for regular contact with their Russian counterparts.The American director of the tour is on hand to assist with learning and living adjustments
Other Activities
Students tour Moscow and St. Petersburg, and there are numerous outings in the region around Petrozavodsk. There are formal and informal meetings with young people, professors and representatives from the community during which students may practice their Russian. There are also plenty of opportunities to attend cultural and athletic events.
